When the P1 was launched it formed part of the ‘holy trinity’ of hybrid hypercars along with the LaFerrari and Porsche 918. It was the only one of the three to use a turbocharged engine, a twin-turbo 3.8-litre V8 and it’s also the rarest one with just 375 units made. The P1 was the first McLaren Ultimate Series car, this line of cars now also includes the Speedtail, Senna and Elva. Still one of the fastest and most iconic cars of the modern era, this particular one comes in a rare metallic purple, known as Cadbury Purple.
