1990 BMW 325i M-Technic (E30)

The BMW 325i M-Technic (E30) is a version of the 325i Sport exclusive to the Japanese market. Just like the 325i Sport, the 325i M-Technic (E30) is essentially a 325i loaded with M-Technic features from BMW’s M division.

Therefore, there is a  2.5-litre M20 inline-six engine under the bonnet that produces 170 horsepower at 5,800rpm, with 222 Nm of torque at 4,300rpm. The power is sent to the rear-wheels, via a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission. The 325i M-Technic features a sport suspension and a limited-slip differential, fitted with alloy wheels, both of which provide a more agile and responsive handling.

One of the unique design features exclusive to the 325i M-Technic is the two-tone exterior, along with M-Technic aero body kit, rear spoiler and interior finish. The BMW 325i M-technic that was released in Japan in 1988 is derived from the M-Technic II, which itself is a facelifted version of the 325i Sport.

This example is the 1990 model year with a 5-speed manual option. It features a Diamantschwarz Metallic exterior, with Anthracite upholstery on the interior exclusive to the M-Technic. A spare factory rear seat is also included. The car has clocked around 96,000km on the odometer, with the shaken (vehicle inspection) covered until December 2023.
