2013 Ferrari 599XX Evo

Held the track record at Nürburgring for a production-derived car

Ferrari produced a total of 29 of the 599XX, a track-only version of the 599 GTB car. Of these 29, an unknown number of owners opted to upgrade to the Evoluzione version, like this example. The 599XX was offered only to Ferrari’s best customers along with a package of up to 6 track days with support from Ferrari. In 2010, the 599XX was announced to have broken the record for the fastest lap time at Nürburgring for a production-derived car, at 6 minutes and 58 seconds.

The Evoluzione package was introduced in 2011 at a cost of $250,000 USD. This upgrade reduced the weight of the car, increased the power,  added an active rear wing, and added an aggressive front splitter. The Evoluzione upgrade increased the horsepower of the naturally aspirated 6.0L V12 to 740hp at 9,000 RPM allowing the car to do 0-60mph in 2.9 seconds with top speeds of 315km/h. The 599XX Evo lapped Ferrari’s Fiorano test track in 1 minute 15 seconds, a whole 2 seconds less than the 599XX and 9 seconds quicker than the 599 GTO, the road-legal version.

This particular 599XX Evo is finished in Nero over Nero and was delivered in 2013. The car has been Classiche Certified by Ferrari.
